Auto Electrician - York - Circa. GBP24,000pa - Job Ref: DS4122
We are working on behalf of one of the UK's largest, independent providers of vehicle contract hire & fleet management solutions and currently have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Auto Electrician to join their Vehicle Conversion team in York.
Main Purpose:
• To carry out auto electrical installations to vehicles to customer requirements, achieving the highest possible standards of workmanship.
• Assist where needed, the Installations Team with the fit out of vehicles including, ply-lining, racking, roof systems etc.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in Auto Electrical fault diagnosis and resultant repairs, along with a thorough understanding of the fit out of vehicles to industry standard and will be rewarded with a basic salary of Circa. GBP24,000pa, Performance Related Bonus, Pension Scheme, Life Assurance and Private Medical Care.
Experience of working on emergency service vehicles and the installation of emergency warning equipment, communication radios and related mobile data equipment would be an advantage but not essential.
Please note the successful candidate will be required to apply for and undertake a (DBS) criminal record check due to the nature of the work involved.
