Since Stevenage New Town was built over 70 years ago, little regeneration has taken place ??? now that's about to change.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Finance and Estates department for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Estates Surveyor to join our team with strong management skills.

This post will assist the Corporate Property Manager in providing valuation and estate management services including, commercial lettings, rent reviews and lease renewals, management of the investment properties, valuation, acquisition and disposal of property interests and supporting projects (including regeneration utilising council owned assets).

This role is key in managing the Council's diverse and extensive investment portfolio (321 properties) including shops, workshops, offices and ground rented properties which will require you to be a good team player with a positive attitude towards delivering a first class service.

The successful candidate will be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and have experience of working in a commercial property environment.
