THE ROLE
I am now seeking an ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR in NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE who has at least one years post graduation experience or more of working for a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants and who is keen to join a successful firm to work on high value projects.
A background working for another UK firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants is essential.
You will be involved in pre and post contract work on various commercial, residential and other projects.
THE CLIENT
My client is a large firm of construction consultants offering clients a range of services including quantity surveying, project management etc.
They are working on retail, residential, hotels, offices, mixed use and other projects and have a large number of offices.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR who has a Degree, Masters or Diploma in Quantity Surveying - ideally RICS accredited.
You may be working towards becoming chartered with the RICS or working for another firm of PQS / consultants who are not supporting you to become chartered.
You will need to have good pre and post contract experience.
You should be able to run your own projects of smaller value or work as part of a team on higher value projects.
You will have worked for a known UK firm of private practice quantity surveyors.
You will work on a good range of projects including residential, commercial and others across the North East.
Excellent support given to become chartered.
