Nationwide Recruitment Service is seeking an innovative Materials Planning and Logisitcs Manager / MP&L/ Supply Chain Manager for their automotive client, working with house hold names. The successful candidate must have worked within automotive distribution, materials planning and supply chain management. You will have first hand experience of raw materials for the automotive indsutry, automotive production/ manufacturing experience is required.

This is an exciting role for an automotive Materials Planning and Logisitcs Manager / MP&L/ Supply Chain Manager based South Birmingham, West Midlands/ Warwickshire/ Worcestershire borders to be responsible for controlling and growing the company's Supply Chain function (Materials, Planning. Raw Materials, Production, Warehouse, Planning, supply chain and Logistics)

You will be from either a Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 automotive manufacturing business and have experience of Six Sigma / Lean / JIT etc. You will have a proven track record in cost reductions, business improvements and supply chain delivery. You will have experience in delivering well planned and executed tactical supply chain objectives across all functions including planning, materials, lean methodologies and logistics.

In your previous supply chain roles you will have used 8d, 5s, Kaizen and Lean principles to ensure fulfilment of deliveries are successfully completed on time The role will pay up to 65k
