Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with one of Swindon's leading Employers to recruit an experienced HR Officer / Advisor for an initial 3-6 month fixed term contract.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a decent working knowledge of employee relations / Case Management combined with exposure to policy and HR processes.

Essential experience

  • Decent understanding of HR practices, procedures - particularly in relation to employment relations and policy development
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident, able to quickly establish credibility with a pragmatic and flexible approach and build relationships at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent attention to detail and logical / methodical approach / style
  • Demonstrable ability to investigate, analyse and problem solve, and to implement appropriate countermeasures where appropriate
  • Able to keep calm under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Flexible, "can do" attitude and tenacity to follow up / resolve outstanding actions
  • Experience of working in a unionised environment (highly advantageous)
  • Good team player, but able to work on own initiative with limited supervision / direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
