Harris Hill are working with a leading Christian international development organisation to recruit a Partnership Fundraising Manager. This organisation have over 140 years experience and are active in 7 countries across Asia & Africa working with people affected by leprosy.
Based in Stirling, Scotland this organisation's aim is to increase awareness and support and to achieve a funding in excess of 2m in the next three years. This role is will have a major impact in the organisation achieving it's fundraising goals and is responsible for generating income from trusts and foundations, corporates and high net worth major donors.
Key responsibilities
- Write and submit high quality applications to existing trust and corporate donors
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with trusts, foundations and corporate donors
- Undertake research to identify new trust, foundation, major donors and corporate funding opportunities
- Develop a legacy pipeline to build on current prospects and identify potential prospects
Experience and skills
- The successful candidate must have previous experience of fundraising & income generation from trusts and foundations
- Experience of fundraising from corporate and major donor income streams would be advantageous although not essential
- The role requires someone with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present at senior level
