A leading organisation that specialises in the design and development for the next generation of Aerospace engines. They have recently started a ground-breaking innovative project and as a result of this, they are seeking a Mechanical Integration Lead Engineer, on a permanent basis, to lead the mechanical integration activities of this prestigious program

THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS

The Mechanical Integration Lead Engineer will receive:
• A competitive annual salary
• 35 hour working week
• 30 Days annual leave plus bank holidays!

THE CANDIDATE
Mechanical Integration Lead Engineer / Mechanical Lead Engineer / Integration Lead Engineer
Essential
• A proven track record with engineering leadership
• A proven track record with design and analysis of mechanical physical interfaces
• Experience working across engine sub-systems with the intention of creating the overall mechanical engine integration design scheme
• Highly competent and confident with engine mechanical integration design and development processes
Desirable Skills / Qualifications
• Experience working within the aerospace / space industry
• Experience managing complex mechanical systems
• Chartered Engineers or candidates pursuing a path leading to Chartered status will be desirable

THE ROLE
Mechanical Integration Lead Engineer / Mechanical Lead Engineer / Integration Lead Engineer
The Mechanical Integration Lead Engineer will require the following experience and have the following duties:
• Manage and develop all mechanical and integration activities for the program
• Support the development of all engineering tools and processes
• Build strong relationships between the sub-system teams to assist with the design of the whole engine mechanical integration
• Manage all aspects of the project's systems mechanical integration activities on a technical level
• Own the physical content of ICD's and work with the Systems Engineering team whilst change managing the ICDs
