A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for an ambitious and driven Structural Engineer to become a leading part of a highly respected, market leading engineering consultancy based in Essex. Our client is actively looking to welcome the successful applicant to become a leading part of a strong building structures team, and play a leading part in the delivery of a number of projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Our client has developed a strong reputation for delivering highly successful projects and have a number of projects due for delivery in 2018 and beyond. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP32,000 for this role, in addition to offering a number of exciting benefits, full support to the completion of Chartership and a company pension.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:

• Hold a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Possess at least 3 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
• Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures
• Possess a good knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes
• Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Be working towards the completion of Chartership

Key responsibilities of this Structural Engineer role include:

• Play an important part in the delivery of a wide range of exciting projects from inception to completion
• Work directly alongside a number of experienced and chartered engineers
• Attend site projects as required
• Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
• Design projects in a range of materials
• Assist with bid proposals
• Aid the development of more junior employees
