Assessor - P&D/Plastering - Derby College

Derby College is looking to recruit an Assessor in P&D and Plastering who is flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement and quality. You will hold a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification and will have up to date knowledge of the industry. Ideally, you will hold a relevant assessor qualification or you will demonstrate the enthusiasm to work towards achieving this.

You will be expected to deliver high quality teaching and will have a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. A minimum of level 2 in both English and Maths is also required for this post as the embedding of these two topics is essential in our move towards outstanding teaching and learning. You will be required to assess national qualifications and other learning programmes within a variety of settings, ensuring achievement of agreed performance and quality targets.
