A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager / Support Coordinator to join the IT projects team at the largest food producer in the UK. Based in Hull, but with travel to other sites in the UK, the successful IT Project Manager / Support Coordinator will earn a highly competitive salary depending on experience. There are both management and support opportunities available.

 The company’s products span retail shelves and restaurant menus both across the UK and internationally. They take the skills of artisans, and with a dedication to the crafts perfected over generations, make tasty food for everyone to enjoy. As an IT Project Manager / Support Coordinator you will join a project team that plans and delivers IT projects within an ever-growing business. Key duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Understanding the business process to deliver software solutions to fit the business’s requirements
  • Travelling between various sites in the UK on a day to day basis (including some overnight accommodation)
  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of key technology projects and processes
  • Train end users
  • Create training documentation and maintain project reports
  • Liaise with the business to gain information to support project delivery
  • Be responsible for various individual work stream deadlines against an overall project plan to ensure projects tasks are completed as planned
 To be considered for the role of IT Project Manager / Support Coordinator you must have a full clean driving license and strong communication skills. In addition, the following key skills and qualities are essential:
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Team player with the ability to self-manage
  • Strong time management skills
  • A confident and enthusiastic people person
  • Experience in food manufacturing, MRP and software delivery is desirable
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementations is desirable
