DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING

Salary £60,000 per annum

+ 5% pension contribution, childcare vouchers, staff ticket allocation

Cheltenham Festivals is a leading cultural organisation with around 36 days of festivals of Literature, Jazz, Music and Science as well as year round educational projects.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing or fundraising professional with a proven track record of operating at a senior level. This is a critical role for the Festivals bringing together the key income streams as well as extending the reach and reputation of the Festivals. The team includes corporate, institution, individuals and trusts fundraising as well as Marketing and Box Office. The Director will set the strategy  and bring fresh thinking to our current partnerships as well as securing new partners who want to support our work. The Marketing and Development  teams will  work closely with the programming teams to achieve the aims of the whole organisation.  The Director will be a member of the Senior Management Team reporting directly into the Board of Trustees.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can provide exceptional leadership and develop high performing teams.   The Director will have a track record of bringing teams together, be strong commercially and somebody who enjoys building external relationships and maximising opportunities. .
