18 Hours per week Home Based. We may also consider flexible working, job share, or part-time.

The British Dietetic Association is a professional body and trade union and is the leading organisation of nutrition professionals in the UK; representing the nutrition and dietetic workforce across all sectors. We are seeking an experienced trade union official to support, represent and protect the interests of members in employment matters and to represent the BDA Trade Union within a wide range of union and political environments in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities will include the provision of advice and representation to members employed in the NHS and other sectors, collective negotiations, organising, and working with BDA lay structures.

Your highly developed communication and influencing skills along with your ability to project manage, problem solve and use initiative will be essential in carrying out this role.

The role will be home based with a requirement to travel and occasionally work some unsocial hours.
