The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director the Business Development Manager has overall responsibility for the delivery of new business in or to achieve the revenue targets as agreed on a quarterly basis.

To be successful you must have previous experience in MSP environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, owning and executing the new business generation and sales strategy
- Conducting regular new business generation activities, which may include cold calling, in-person networking and event attendance
- Working closely with Service Delivery to ensure the smooth handover or projects
- Ensuring the CRM system(s) are kept up to date and accurate
- Conducting monthly internal client reviews to identify upsell opportunities as unprofitable projects/clients
- Overseeing all account management activities to ensure high levels of client retention or where necessary managed client departure
- Providing regular management reports and accurate forecasts

- Clear communicator with the ability to build relationships with clients at all business levels
- Confident presenter
- Strong numerical literacy
- Self starter - able to generate leads and convert to business
- Professional telephone manner
