STONE MASONS – Church Works/Historic Buildings –Construction

Our client is a long-established Essex based Construction Company, who carry out a broad spectrum of works from specialised works to churches and listed buildings to main stream construction and insurance repairs.

They are now seeking qualified Stonemasons to work within small site teams of directly employed multi-skilled labour force & trade subcontractors, for all aspects of work to historic buildings. Their sites are mostly Essex based but can be in and around the London area & Home Counties.

Experience Required:

• Stonemasonry background.
• Experience in working with timber.
• Previous experience in managing small to medium sites is an advantage though not a necessity.
• Experience in historical restoration, with Church restoration experience an advantage.
• Relevant health and safety qualification.

Person Description:

• Passion for historic buildings.
• Adaptable.
• Good attention to detail.
• The post will involve travel to and from sites and a clean driving licence is required.
• Ideally HTEC or equivalent qualified.
• Used to working in a busy team.

Salary / Hours:

• Salary is negotiable - based on ability & experience.
• Hours – Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm.
