This cloud based payment company, partnered with Salesforce and Sage Pay, are looking to recruit a Software Developer.

They offer a bespoke service that allows their customers to make the most of their cloud based platform, through personalisation and integration of their payment applications.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to write high quality and clean code for internal and external software projects. You will be able to experiment with the development and the opportunity to personally develop your programming skill set whilst working with international clients.

Responsibilities will include:

- Able to develop to the established standards and practices.
- Works well with the team to establish best practices and quality requirements.
- Create and execute unit tests for all delivered code, achieving test coverage goals.
- Taking part in code peer reviews.
- Uses standard processes for version control and configuration management.
- Documents code through comments to support software Maintenance
- Write fully integrated systems that function reliably and meet customer expectations
- Participate in the technical strategy to evaluate the new functionality of systems.
- Using existing tools to create innovative new solutions

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree level.
- 2yrs+commercial development experience and exposure to a full project lifecycle development environment.
- Solid Java or C#, web development and Javascript skills are essential along with an experience of Agile Methodologies with Test Driven Development.
- Experience building ASP web applications.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Knowledge of developing or consuming SOAP & REST Web Services.
- Ability to design, build and interact with databases such as MySQL.
- Competent with common programming design concepts and best practices.
- Must have the working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must have experience working with Visual Studio.
- Able to work under pressure while providing exceptional customer service.
