Surface/Print Graphic Designer

IT Luggage Limited, founded in 1985, is an award winning innovative luggage and travel goods business with offices in UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong and China.  They are expanding and have a fantastic opportunity for a Surface/Print Graphic Designer to join their design team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating print designs according to market trends and customer requirements
• Creating factory ready print artworks
• CAD work applying prints to product
• Creating customer presentation boards
• Recolouring of existing prints
• Swatch/sample approvals, QC, pantone matching
• Liaising with their China factories
• Identifying seasonal key trends – use of WGSN
• Creating trend boards
• Distributing work and managing our freelance print designers
• Handling other design work

What you’ll need:

• Design related degree in print/textiles/surface design/graphics
• Minimum 2 years previous relevant commercial experience
• Excellent CAD skills on Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
• Experience of recolouring and creating workable repeats
• Excellent sense of colour
• A clear understanding of CMYK and spot colour printing processes
• Working knowledge of pantone TPX/TPG and solid coated systems
• Excellent eye for detail
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
