A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for a highly experienced Senior Structural Technician to become a leading part of a market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Surrey. Our client is looking to welcome the successful applicant to become a leading part of a of the building structures team, and play a leading part in the detailing and modelling of a wide range of building structures projects delivered across a wide range of sectors. In this role you will have the opportunity to work directly alongside a number of highly experienced engineers and technicians for leading clients across the UK. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP35,000 in addition to a number of exciting benefits and a company pension.

In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Technician role you will:

• Hold a HNC degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a good understanding of steel, concrete, timber and masonry detailing
• Possess experience working within a consultancy environment

Key responsibilities of this Senior Structural Technician role include:

• Produce good drawings with both AutoCAD and Revit under minimal supervision
• Liaise closely with engineers on a range of issues
• Aid the development of more junior employees
• Update and revise previous drawings
• Work closely with team engineers to ensure representative drawings
