Senior Risk Analyst - Insurance
City of London
Up to £45000 per annum
Market leading general insurer, experiencing a period of growth, currently seek a Senior Risk Analyst to complement their existing talented team. The role will allow the post holder to deepen and broaden their existing risk management expertise whilst providing an excellent opportunity for exposure to senior stakeholders.
The remit of the role will include:
* Contributing to the risk profile monitoring process, populating Risk Dashboards for various operational committees.
* Developing and maintaining the risk appetite and tolerance framework, ensuring that it is consistent with the risk register and committee risk dashboards.
* Developing and maintaining the emerging risk framework.
* Working with the Actuarial Function to document model changes and manage the model change log as per the model change policy.
* Contributing to risk management 'deep dives' as and when required.
* Working with the Actuarial Function and independent validators to complete validation tests and contribute to producing the validation report.
* Supporting the quarterly and annual ORSA process and the production of the reports.
* Contributing to the development of the Risk Management Function.
* Deputising for Head of ERM when required, including presenting at committees and Board meetings if necessary.
The ideal candidate will be naturally analytical with prior risk experience, gained ideally within the insurance sector. Those with experience within wider financial services or advisory firms will also be considered. Advanced Excel skills along with any experience with Access/VBA/R or similar will be advantageous.
