Key Tasks & Responsibilities
SERVICE Responsibilities
- Run shift when Head Chef is not in
- Maintain food consistency, trained in from the head chef.
- Preparing all meals to a high standard working closely with the HC.
- Assisting the Head Chef with training other team members on Service Parameters
- Accountability for kitchen operations: service times, preparation
- Create & cost specials

STANDARDS Responsibilities
- Complying with, and maintain the Safer Food Better Business pack
- Following & developing open & close checklists for the kitchen
- Complying with EHO legislation:
- Labelling, Stock rotation, Safe cooking, Cooling and Storage
- Cleanliness across the entire space
- Assisting the Head Chef with training of staff and efficient supervising of Standards
- Implementing company culture and internal guidelines
- Effectively managing stock to minimise waste, save money & make money
- Dealing with deliveries and stock and order, stock rotation.

SECURITY Responsibilities
- Helping financial aspects of the kitchen: Achieving GP, waste management, portion control
- Enforcing health and safety regulations
- Looking after the physical assets of the business, locking doors et al.
