As a result of our sustained growth over recent years, we are currently inviting applicants for the position of audit senior to join our enthusiastic and expanding audit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious driven individual who is ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within practice.
We are a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK. A well-established firm since the 1930s with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.
The applicant will need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and will be expected to take the lead on audit assignments. Experience in the education and charity sectors would be of benefit however, is not essential.
Duties will include:
- Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments
- Plan audit assignments and use of analytical review
- Lead audits
- Supervise, delegate and review work of juniors
- Deliver information to client in timely manner
- Display in depth client and industry knowledge
- Display strong technical knowledge
- Manage client communication in an affective manner
- Display strong commercial awareness and the ability to work within budget.
- Communicate to management progress on workload and plan for efficient completion
Experience
- Experience of completing private company audits: planning, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, budgeting the time budget for the job
- Knowledge of and experience using analytical review
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified
