Our client is looking for a highly skilled Mobile Tyre Fitter to join their expanding family-owned business.
LOCATION: Midhurst, West Sussex
JOB TITLE: Mobile Tyre Fitter

WORKING HOURS: Core hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime once these hours have been exceeded
THE ROLE: As a Mobile Tyre Fitter, you will be a member of one of our dynamic, dedicated, professional Tyre Teams and as such you will assist your Team to develop and maintain the highest level of tyre fitting service, with the Company goal to be recognised as the industry leaders in customer service and satisfaction. Your job objective is to take a personal role in delivering excellence to each and every one of our customers ensuring that they receive a first class service with the focus on customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities / duties of the Mobile Tyre Fitter position:
• Carry out jobs as per the job instruction; the job starts from receiving the job card and finished when handed back to the office for completion or further action.
• Ensuring your job cards are correctly filled out and are accurately prepared for processing by office
• To ensure work is completed to the required standard within required times
• To work off site without supervision
• To work with colleagues in a positive and constructive manner
• To maintain the flexibility needed in this industry - in terms of working hours and tasks undertaken
• To keep up-to- date with developments in the trade in the areas that effects the job, for example: product knowledge, health and safety, and diagnostic procedures
• To positively promote the company at all times and where possible to actively encourage customers to use the facilities of the Tyre Department
• To communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, ensuring a first class service to both external and internal customers
• Help breed a Health and Safety culture by observing/advising/reporting unsafe work method
• Maintain a clean working environment; personal presentation (uniform), tidy and clean vans
• Use company tooling responsibly
• Understand deadlines and priority on repairs to ensure the work is carried out within the correct timescale
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fitting agricultural, car and truck tyres with some good sound knowledge of agricultural, car and truck tyre fitting. Our client is looking for someone who has strong customer service and customer facing skills who can communicate with people at all levels. A good attention to detail is required to succeed in this role.
Key experience/skills essential for the role of Mobile Tyre Fitter based around the West Sussex region:
• A full UK driving licence with access to transport is essential.
• Will live within a commutable distance of Midhurst, West Sussex
• Must have previous experience working in a similar role or environment
• Must have the ability to work self-motivate and work individually, managing your own workload and also able to work as part of a team.
