REPAIR / ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
SITTINGBOURNE
£16k - £18k – 37.5 hour week
We are seeking an individual with a passion for PCB Assembly. You may have worked in a factory on PCB assembly lines, as a Repair Centre Engineer or Technician, or indeed have a genuine passion / hobby for working with connectors and components. Reporting directly to the Customer Services Team Leader we are looking for a Technician who enjoys working within a busy, friendly team. You will have a “can do” approach and love working in a fast moving and demanding customer environment. Full on-site training will be given, including PCB diagnostic and repair, pneumatic component diagnostic and repair. Key Assembly Technician's Responsibilities:
- Assist with service and repair of medical devices (ICU)
- Final QA testing of ICU medical devices
- Decontaminating ICU medical devices
- Updating customers via internal ticket system with Engineers reports and device repair and service progress
- Assist the Customer Service Team with technical support queries
- Assist the Customer Service Team with the creation and update of Work Instruction Procedures
- Support the Production department with product testing
- Help with any other reasonable duties the business may require
Personal Repair Technician's Specification:
- 5 GCSE's or equivalent
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience working with PCB assembly
- Strong team player who enjoys developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers and colleagues
- Enjoy prioritising activities and managing own time effectively
