LOCATION: Waterside, Chesham
JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships
SALARY & BENEFITS: National living wage
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday
THE COMPANY: Based in Chesham our client are a British based engineering company. For more than 70 years they have been the leader in mixing technology and has set the standard for High Shear Mixers. Due to continued growth they are now offering Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships at their Chesham site.
THE ROLE:This is an exciting opportunity, On offer is the chance to gain quality work based training whilst continuing to study towards a recognised vocational qualification (NVQs). Silverson Machines have their own training department and you will be trained in a new purpose built training centre located at Chesham

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship will be somebody who is Enthusiastic, self motivated, a team player and flexible. A Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship could be a great opportunity for a variety of people, you may be a school leaver or somebody who is looking for a career change. We'd like to hear from anybody with any interest in Mechanical Engineering.
You will need, or be willing to work towards English, Maths and Science/Technology based GCSEs at Grade C or above.
Successful candidates will be will be required to undertake initial assessments in literacy, numeracy and mechanical aptitude prior to any interviews.
Key experience for the Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships
Live within the Buckinghamshire area
Have or be willing to work towards English, Maths and Science/Technology based GCSEs at Grade C or above.
