Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Panel Beater

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Panel Beater to join a bespoke vehicle manufacturer. Based in Towcester, Northamptonshire, the successful Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Panel Beater will earn a salary of £12.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience. There will be some occasional work required in Banbury, Oxfordshire as well.

The company work on classic Jensen Interceptors as well as various other vehicles. Their objective is to blend the pleasure of driving a classic car with the reliability of a modern car and the performance of a super car. As a Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Panel Beater, you will primarily be responsible for Jensen bodyshell repair and restoration. Additional key duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Panel work
• Paintwork
• Some occasional vehicle build and trim fitting

To be considered for the role of Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Panel Beater you must possess the following key skills and experience:

• Ideally have experience working with classic cars
• Technical awareness of motor vehicles and motor trade parts
• Ability to organise work on own initiative
• Motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual
• Good eye for detail

In addition to a salary of £12.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience, the successful Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Panel Beater will receive 20 days holiday per year, with an extra day per year of service (up to 25 days).
