They provide cutting-edge chemical testing and analysis using the latest toxicology research data and constantly update regulatory guidance to ensure that all our e-liquid products are fully compliant at every step of the testing process, from initial formulation to packaging and delivery.

Role:
Part of the laboratory team that is responsible for the analysis of raw materials, in-process and release samples of production materials.

You will work closely with the Laboratory Team Leader and Production Supervisor to provide successful operation of the analytical function, including;

- Raw material analysis
- In-process and release analysis
- TPD testing
- Adherence to product specifications
- Analytical methods
- Timelines
- Delivery of analytical results as per the production schedule
- Adherence to quality procedures and associated paperwork completion.

Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysis of contract analytical samples
- Ensure all methods are performed to good laboratory practices and in any case to the standard in ISO 17025
- Ensures that all works are complete on time, including peer review, checking and verification as required
- Provide reports on laboratory performance to senior management/directors as requested/required
- Performs analysis as and when required to achieve timescales

Personal Skillsets:
- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or associated discipline
- Laboratory experience, specifically chromatography including HPLC, GC-FID and GC-MS as well as wet chemistry techniques
- Experience in working in regulated laboratories
- Full understanding and experience in Quality Management Systems
- Good interpersonal skills - both face-to-face and via email, telephone and other media
- Proven experience of working with in a fast moving, pressurised production/analytical environment, ideally within a bottling/manufacturing facility
- Demonstrable ability to plan ahead and to flexible deadlines - minimum 3 months
- Strong computer skills - Word, Excel - use of CRM and stack control databases an advantage
- Driven - experience of an entrepreneurial/start-up environment advantageous
