GBP45,000 to GBP55,000 plus bonus and benefits

A great opportunity to join an established corporate in a broad based role reporting to the Head of Talent Management and supporting in identifying the key strategic talent and development needs of the organisation. There will be a strong program management flavour to the role across the key early career talent programs for Graduates and apprentices and also driving the programs around organisation wide functional learning. Key elements will include delivery of the annual learning needs analysis; oversight of the apprentice levy and the learning budget; working with external partners to manage the Apprentice and Graduates Programmes. The opportunities for project involvement are considerable and these could be as diverse as supporting projects across talent management & succession planning, leadership development, career development, change management, capability development. These will all require your ability to develop and maintains relationships with key business sponsors and across multiple business areas.
Candidates should bring experience of managing learning and talent programs with the ability to steer those programs to meet the needs of both the business and cohorts. A tenacity to delivery and the confidence to work with and influence senior level stakeholders is essential. Alongside that you should bring a flexibility of thought and a curious nature with a desire to explore and understand different approaches and the commercial acumen and customer centricity to identify the most value adding route. You could either be a generalist learning partner with strong program/project management experience (this is not a training facilitation role), or you may have had some prior experience in management early career graduate and apprentice programs. Our client will also consider HR generalists who possess a decent level of exposure to learning program management in their roles but would like to specialise within this area.
