Web Developer - Junior - WordPress

The Company:
This vibrant online marketing company based in Central Milton Keynes specialises in marketing UK gaming websites. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic front-end web developer with experience in HTML5, CSS3 and PHP to join their rapidly expanding team.

You will be expected to work closely as a team along with having the ability to work alone to take a brief from concept to completion within the allocated timeframe. Knowledge of working with CMS platforms (WordPress) would be highly advantageous, however a strong and demonstrated knowledge of front-end, web page development will be essential.

To support your personal development, continual training will be provided throughout your career to ensure your progression is on track.

The Role:
To work with the design team, assisting marketing and commercial teams to release site changes as per their requirements.

Assisting with the design, development and implementation of Wordpress templates, web pages and email marketing.

Identify and assist with site issues and optimisation.

Required skills:
- PHP
- Responsive web design & Bootstrap CSS framework
- WordPress theme development
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with proven project management skills
- Must have excellent eye for detail
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions
- Keen to learn new technologies and web standards
