My client is a well established engineering company within the Derbyshrie area and are looking for a Lead Fitter to join their team.
As part of the role your day to day duties will include;
Designing and implementing the right tooling, fixtures, gauges, and equipment.
Resolving fitting issues or operating problems effectively and in a timely manner
Develop manufacturing processess from supplier to customer
Support value stream team in achieving policy development impact targets.
Remove waste in the processes through LEAN Manufacturing
The ideal candidate will be a competent mechanical fitter within the pump manufacturing environment.
Be an excellent problem solver, and posses comprehensive working knowledge of fitting and assembly processes.
Working Monday to Thursday 0730 to 1630 and Friday 0730 to 1330
Salary is up to £24,000 depending on experience
