Brook Street are urgently recruiting for an experienced administrator and minute taker for our government client based in Newburn Business Park in Newcastle

You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective admin support in a busy and fast-paced environment.

Among your day to day duties you will;
* Prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute notes of meetings with expert advisory groups, including typing up of group discussions when necessary
* Provide professional and effective administrative support to the team including photocopying, producing letters, emails, meeting notes and reports
* Gather information of projects and support with their management
* Act as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with queries and passing on relevant information to appropriate teams
* Undertake general administration duties when required


The successful candidate will have sound admin and minute taking experience, as well as the ability to use their own initiative when undertaking tasks. Strong IT and communication skills are also desirable.

The role may require occasional travel to the Durham site around once a month for minute taking.

This position is for 3 months currently, with the possibility of extending. It is 37 hours per week with a desirable pay rate of £10, rising to £10.
