Due to retirement, we’re now looking for a number of Production Operatives to join our team in Chailey.

The Role: 

As a Production Operative, you’ll complete a range of tasks to support the smooth running of the Production function. 

In this hands-on role, you will: 

- Perform a range of manual tasks each day
- Monitor equipment, including clamp burners, during your shift 
- Perform basic maintenance on the gas burners 
- Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed 
- Maintain our high housekeeping standards 
- Help to load lorries during busy periods 
- Provide cover for the Machine Operator 
- Support continuous improvement initiatives 

About You: 

While no experience is necessary, to be considered, you’ll need: 

- A high level of health and safety awareness 
- The ability to work well, both on your own and as part of a team 
- Strong organisational skills 
- The ability to work to set standards with minimum supervision 
- A positive approach 

Experience of operating a forklift would be beneficial, but this is by no means essential.
