Reporting to the Operations Systems Manager, the Crew Systems Supervisor is responsible for the daily running of all the Flight Crew-related planning and rostering systems and functions. These business-critical systems are used intensively to model, plan, manage, and ultimately provide the flight-crew resources required to deliver the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays flying programme.
In this exciting new position, you will ensure the constant availability and smooth daily operation of the Crewing systems. You will provide guidance and training whilst maintaining user guides and reference material for all system elements. Working alongside internal stakeholders you will maintain and continuously develop relationships in order to maximise the efficiency, stability and overall reliability of the systems. The Crew Systems Supervisor will assist with system development, delivering testing schedules for patches and new releases in the Live environment.
In addition, you will maintain the setup of rostering rules, respond to any queries and adjust data and configuration as required. You will also ensure a full contingency strategy is in place for disaster recovery and failover.
The successful candidate will ideally possess an in depth knowledge of airline crew operations and experience of working with EASA Flight Time Limitations. You will have a strong understanding of the Jet2.com ethos for Crew Resource Planning and Operations Control. In addition, you will be a strong communicator, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, providing clear guidance and assistance as needed. You should be able to demonstrate good system knowledge through previous experience.
