JOB TITLE: Multi Skilled Operative
LOCATION: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
REFERENCE: TSLGJ1213
SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary depending on experience - 4 weeks holiday - Pension scheme after trial period
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday - Friday
THE COMPANY: Our client is an independent, carpet and flooring specialist who has over 45 years' experience in the flooring industry and has acquired an excellent reputation to be proud of. Our client has worked on behalf of Taylor Wimpy, Persimmon and Crest supplying flooring to their new builds and through expansion and a new contract are now looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join their team at Milton Keynes.
THE ROLE: Our client is looking for an individual, who will grow with the company and take on extra responsibilities, and the salary will rise accordingly. The core purpose of the role will be to carry out all warehouse duties where required and work in the office as cover.
Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Operative to include:-
Warehouse Duties:-
• Loading and unloading Lorries
• Loading fitters ready for the next day's routes
• Cutting carpets & vinyl ready for the fitters to collect
• Recycling of old flooring
Office duties:-
• Answering the telephone
• Data inputting onto the computer
• Stock ordering
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role (warehouse). A full UK driving licence is essential for this position. Our client is looking for a hardworking individual who wants to grow with the company.
Key experience essential for the role of Multi Skilled Operative based in Milton Keynes
• Will live within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
• Will hold a full clean UK driving licence (minor points considered)
• Must have previous experience working in a warehouse
• Will be computer literate
• Any experience working in a similar role or environment will be highly advantageous although not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
