I am working on behalf of specialist, charity organisation who is seeking to appoint two deputy managers for their independent residential services West Midlands. You will become a recognised member of an established provider who is acknowledged for supporting boys and girls, aged 6 - 19 years, with complex learning needs, including Autism and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome).
You will join a provider who has a key focus on helping children to engage effectively with their learning and living experiences. Their aim is to promote choice, independence and dignity within a safe, supportive environment and enable the young people here to live a fulfilled, varied life
Closely supporting the Home Manager, you will be responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans, and you`ll play a central role in team leadership. From allocating shifts and training days and you will be central to service delivery and you`ll take a hands-on approach to care management too.
You will be required to play a key role in the "on call" rota and operate in line with both company and OFSTED regulations.
You must be flexible to work on a 5 day over 7 day shift basis.
A positive, forward thinking individual, you will be able to demonstrate a significant background supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs.
You will have previously been employed as a team leader or deputy manager in a similar setting and be qualified to QCF level 4 in health and social care; children and young people or equivalent. Due to the nature of the job role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
This exciting deputy manager opportunity is offering a competitive salary up to £26500 per annum, dependent on relevant skills, qualifications and experience.
