Nurse

We seek nurses with experience in acute clinical areas such as General Medicine and ITU/CCU to assist with monitoring the safety and wellbeing of healthy volunteers and patients who participate in clinical trials.

You should be available to work 2 days per week on an ongoing basis, as a minimum. During the first 2-3 months, shifts must be worked between Mon-Fri in order to complete training and orientation.

Once able to work more independently, late, weekend and night shifts are available. Required skills include: use of patient monitoring equipment, recording 12 lead ECGs, blood sampling by venepuncture, good organisational skills and the ability to integrate and work well within a varied team of clinical professionals.

Experienced Nurse Trainers are allocated to guide you through initial shifts and in the completion of all basic procedures.
