The role is a Waking Night Support Worker position working with children and young people aged 7 - 19 with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, associated learning disabilities and/or autism.
As Night Support Worker you will be a key member of the team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to the children and young people you support. Your role may include elements of personal care, and will require an ability to settle young people when they become anxious, distressed or display challenging behaviour.
During your training period you may be initially based in other homes in the local area, which may involve day shifts. This will ensure you have the highest level of training, mentoring and supervision, and really get to know the young people you will be supporting.
We are looking for people with high levels of energy and initiative, along with an ability to be pro-active and calm under pressure.
Salary starts at £17,179, rising to £18,000 after completion of your Level 3 qualification and/or probation.
