Our client one of the largest and oldest independent Builders’ Merchants in the east of England with fourteen diverse sites. They are able to meet the needs of the professional builder and decorator, and those of their private customers.

They are now looking for a Yard Customer Service Assistant to join them at their Bury St Edmunds branch, contributing to achieving the Company’s monthly and yearly financial and business objectives including establishing them as the “Retailer of Choice” in its market.

Reporting to their Heavyside Manager, you will provide advice and support to customers and meet all customer requirements. Using authorised procedures for the completion of sales and purchases, you will complete correct documentation for all transactions, particularly in respect of goods and cash. You will unload all stock received and store promptly and safely whilst maintaining a good standard of stock storage, layout, rotation preservation and displays.
