The role:
They are seeking an Events Executive (Maternity Cover) for their Specialist Knowledge Societies department to manage the event programmes of a portfolio of around 10 external clients comprising of 50 or more events per year, including management of end to end operations. Events range from evening lectures to two day events. The Events Executive will also provide full marketing service for their client group, including event production and planning.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Working with customers on the delivery of all aspects of their events programmes.
- Marketing clients events effectively in line with the organisation and client corporate identities to his delegate targets
- Hosting event delegates, being the outward face of the organisation at client events
- Managing the end-to-end operational requirements of events including, but not limited to, event hosting, venue booking, event recordings, on the day operations.
- Assisting customers through the event planning and execution process, including briefing them on the day of the event.
- Manage suppliers for each event or meeting, including venue, printers, photographers etc
- Process registration fees and refunds as required.

What are we looking for?
- Applicants must have a thorough understanding of how marketing channels can be used to reach event delegates, as well as of current events and delegate registration processes.
- Candidates must have experience of organising and delivering events and meetings on target.
- They must have excellent oral and written communication skills, a high attention to detail, as well as experience using Microsoft Office packages.
- Candidates must have a flexible approach
