Control Centre Operator
Located: Potter Bar- South Mimms
Pay Rate: £12
Starting soon
Temp- ongoing
Must be flexible & able to do shift work
Must be a car driver
Duties:
- Answer Emergency Roadside / None emergency inbound calls
- Liaise with other parties to assist vehicle recovery
- Communicate with fire, ambulance and police services
- Monitor Road network through CCTV and other systems
- Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents
- Work well within a team and coordinate communications between each others
- Use a Command and Control System to prioritise and manage incidents on the strategic road network
- Providing a good service to all parties and using a wide range of technologies including radio, telephone and written communications
- General administration duties
About you:
- Working effectively with others as part of a team
- Able to accurately capture record and relay complex information using appropriate technology
- Experience of working within a Customer Service environment
- Proficient IT skills - minimum typing speed of 32 words per minute
- Excellent communication skills
- Calm - able to deal with critical incidents in an effective manner
- Ability to dynamically prioritise
