CLINICAL UNIT, CAMBRIDGE - WORKING WITH A MAJOR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY
CLINICAL WARD SUPPORT – FULL TIME HOURS
This position would be suitable for anyone with nursing or technician experience in an acute clinical area. You will assist with monitoring the safety and wellbeing of healthy volunteers and patients who participate in clinical trials. The Clinical Ward Support role will work closely with Clinical Ward Managers in the conduct of all clinical trials and study related activities following a period of training. Experience in phlebotomy, recording 12 lead ECGs and vital signs, the use of patient monitoring equipment, the ability to integrate and work well within a varied team of clinical professionals would be advantageous. Possession of a current BLS/ILS/ALS certificate is desirable. Work would mainly be undertaken between Monday to Friday although some evening and weekend work will be required. Basic computer skills are required. Additional training will be given in the electronic data capture system used in the Clinical Unit.
