Currently we are recruiting for a Graduate NPI Engineer on a 12-month FTC covering maternity leave. The role is to provide NPI support the introduction of new projects as well as any changes to the manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the APQP Team activities in the Plant, with the aim to ensure key milestones are met and schedules; resources are clearly identified and available; restrictions to implementation are addressed.
- Assisting of new product launch process's & project Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
- Ensure planned plant activities are executed at the right time, quality, performance and cost
- Launch phase activity plan development - measurement & publication of progress of the product launch activities versus plan - slippage monitoring
- Co-ordinate (drawing) design feasibility reviews for product development during gate phases
- Support product and process development/validation
- Support the "Gatekeeper" for the APQP launches phase gateways
- Support engineering change-related action integration into launch phase activity plan.
- Assist with recovery planning to offset resource slippage & engineering change imposed delay
- Interface role between Site Operations functions & Engineering
- Maintenance of customer requirements for new product introduction & APQP documentation / reporting

Experience/Skills Desired:

• Graduate calibre either Qualified or working towards
• Excellent communication Skills s
• Ability to multi task
• Have a working knowledge gained within the "Friction" environment
• Experience & detailed knowledge of the functional requirements in modern manufacturing operations departments
• Understanding of technical drawings & marking / tolerance standards
• Understanding of customer requirements & practical application of these standards in a production environment
• Risk Management - the method through which uncertainty in a project is systematically managed to increase the likelihood of meeting or exceeding the project objectives (Time, Cost, Performance and Quality)
• Change Management - the method used to change the project's product or process, including
