Wood Machinist
My client is looking for an experienced wood machinist to join a joinery team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity to join a well-established professional friendly team.
Essential Criteria
Ideal candidate must have experience in operating the general woodworking machinery like Cross Cut, Panel/Dimension Saw, Bandsaw, Rip Saw and Planers.
Ideal applicant would also have experience in working a Spindle Moulder, Mortice and Tenoner and Overhead Router.
Your work experience as a wood machinist is required.
Supporting other project activities as requested by Project Manager/Director.
Math skills are essential.
Desirable Criteria
Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme scheduling.
Communicator & motivator with ability to communicate across all levels of seniority from the workface through to Senior Management level.
Strong industry experience.
A methodical approach to work and an eye for detail.
Be extremely reliable.
