A local Brent secondary school is seeking an exceptional graduate who is looking to start a rewarding career in education as a Science Teaching Assistant!
The ideal Science Teaching Assistant will have a strong academic background with a minimum of a 2:1 in any science. They will have a natural flair in engaging with others and will possess a passion for their subject. They will have the ability to support pupils with a range of abilities and adopt their own style of teaching.
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils across the whole school in their science lessons, and will have specific key students who you will provide more direct support to too ensure their academic potentials are met. Other general duties include assisting the class teacher in preparing the classroom and create lesson resources. The chosen Science Teaching Assistant will help orchestrate and plan 1:1 or small group interventions in your Science subject for those students who need more support.
The school is based in the heart of Brent and has excellent transportation links. The school are widely-known in the community for its strong academics and sense of family.
