Head of Maths Department Specification
The ideal Head of Maths will be an accomplished Maths Middle Leader who now feels the time is right to step up to lead their own Maths Department. You will be an inspirational Maths Teacher who can galvanise and motivate the staff members in your department. You will be a Maths Teacher who has the very highest standards of Teaching and Learning and who can share this knowledge and experience to your department and the wider school community.
About the Maths Head of Department role
You will have responsibility for developing a programme of regular observations and development for staff to ensure continued development. Part of your role as Head of Maths will include analysing and improving upon any areas of the curriculum you deem to be unsuccessful and tracking the effectiveness of these changes. In this post you will be bringing new ideas to this exciting school and contributing to the further development of the creative Maths curriculum.
