Edustaff have been approached by a primary school in south Birmingham who are actively recruiting a newly qualified teacher for one of their Reception classes. This position will start in the new academic year (4th September) and is full time and permanent. The school are keen on the NQT joining to have previous experience in the foundation stage and ideally be completing an EYFS PGCE.

The school have high expectations of NQTs, as they do of all teaching staff, and are ideally looking for a teacher that is working towards being graded as 'Outstanding' on their professional placements and as a minimum 'Good'. Perhaps more importantly they are looking for a NQT that is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about their new career, attitude is everything to this school.

As a Primary NQT, starting your first full time role, it is essential for your success that you are well supported. This Head will ensure your career and professional development are continually monitored and supported. This support should help you become an outstanding Primary school teacher. There are a number of teachers that have been with the school for some time and they will be able to provide an NQT with help and guidance in best practice.

Although the school is housed in a traditional 1930s build they have recently started expanding and redesigning parts of the school bringing it up to date in terms of facilities.
