CNC Milling Setter/Operator-BRENTWOOD

We are currently recruiting for an established company based in Brentwood, Essex

Hours: 07:00 - 17:30 Monday & Tuesdays

07:00 - 17:00 Wednesday & Thursdays

Fridays & weekends off / overtime available

Duration: Temporary Ongoing position

The role is for a CNC Milling Setter/Operator

Job duties

- Setting and Operating CNC machines as well as working on Milling or Turning machines

- Downloading and editing programs & Control,verification of dimensions

- Changing tools and fixtures whilst working to complex drawings with minimal supervision

-Produce components to fine tolerances in a range of basic and exotic materials & quality check all parts alone to a high quality standard whilst maintaining set targets for production

-Selection of correct tooling such as port tooling and gauges

- Assisting in the batch marking of component parts

- Adhere to the company health and safety policies set in place

Applicants must have the qualities to:

- Have the ability to read engineering drawings and comprehension of geometric tolerances and work both in a team and alone as required
