Senior Manager - Data Analytics - Financial Services

£90000 - £110000 per annum + car, pension, bonus, benefits
Company client seek to recruit for a Senior Data Analytic Managers for their London-based clients, paying up to £110,000 basic salaries plus extras. Banking, Insurance or Asset Management sector experience, along with a highly sound awareness of the current advanced data-related issues, trends and challenges are highly desirable.
Typical engagements / projects revolve around using data analysis and insights to: reduce risk, improve resilience, develop a higher trust in their data, comply with regulation, reveal intelligence and to ensure accurate, actionable and timely updates are readily available.
A significant proportion of work is based around 'high risk' issues such as fraud, anti-money laundering and financial crime - as well as data privacy, protection and governance.
In addition, extremely strong and proven technical requirements are an absolute must, hence it is essential applicants are able to demonstrate deep experience in some, or all of the below:
* Advanced data analytics, using platforms such as SAS or SPSS
* Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
* Data quality and data cleansing techniques
* Understanding of the principles of data governance
* Advanced MS Excel
