Our housing operations team deliver day to day operational resource, financial control, business planning and income management to ensure regulatory and good practice requirements are met to meet our housing service plan.

Our system, performance and engagement team are responsible for promoting and enabling effective resident and leaseholder participation, ensuring good resident representation and accountability.
About the role
You will work as part of the resident engagement team to take a proactive role in promoting and supporting residents to participate in decision making, affecting their homes and communities.
You will initiate and deliver a full range of opportunities to council residents and leaseholders, by forming an editorial panel for tenants' newsletter and assisting residents in identifying their local needs and aspirations. Along with this, you will support tenants in taking part in forums such as area boards/partnerships, Wiltshire housing partnerships and corporate arrangements; the tenants' panel or housing board.
About you
We are looking for someone with a flair for creativity and innovation! You will have the ability to find ways of engaging with communities and gaining resident insight, whilst delivering excellent resident engagement service.
With proven previous experience in a housing or community engagement related field, we will look to you to have excellent communication skills to help with engagement activities and dealing with needs of a diverse audience. As well as having experience of developing and maintaining effective customer focused services with a commitment to continuous service improvement.
This role is based in Salisbury and covers mostly the south of the county.
