Job Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Bridgwater
Duration: Temp to perm
Rate: Negotiable for initial contract period - Up to 30K on a perm basis D.O.E
Due to ongoing growth and continuous development within the business, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an aspiring quality engineer to join the business and help support the quality team. My client is hoping to develop this Quality Engineer into a Quality Manager pretty quickly, so if progression is what you're looking for this is the perfect opportunity.
The Quality Engineer's key responsibilities:
* Ensuring the company Quality Systems and certifications are continuously improved.
* Assisting with the development of the company's HSE management systems.
* Supervision of QC inspectors, ensuring the company's product quality standards are maintained.
* Management of internal auditing and management review systems.
* Documentation
* Management of 8D NCR / FMEA / CAPA system
* Liaising with suppliers and customers both internally and externally.
The Quality Engineer is required to have the following:
* ISO 9001:2015 (Knowledge is desirable)
* ISO 14001 (Knowledge is desirable)
* Understanding of Quality Management Systems (Preferably with in a manufacturing environment)
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday (8.30am - 17.00pm)
