CNC Turning Section Manager
DW/RLR/HARL-TSM Harlow GBP32K - GBP38K
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our client as a CNC turning section manager managing a team of 20 CNC operators/setters. Our client is a well-known and respected engineering company working within Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Medical & Marine industries.
You will have previous experience as a CNC turner using Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens & Cincinnati controls and be responsible for the manufacture of machined parts. Predominately the Aerospace sector work.
The ideal candidate must have experience with:
• Conversant in reading engineering drawings.
• Conversant with programming and understanding of programmers.
• CNC experience.
• Working to tight tolerances.
• Understand Inspection technique's and Inspection methods, use of manual Inspection equipment i.e. Micrometers, internal bore micrometers, depth micrometers, verniers.
• Small to medium batch work, some one off's.
• Must be able to work under own initiative.
• Able to work within time frames.
• Understanding the importance of tractability and paperwork.
• Following procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Good house keeping.
Preferably apprenticeship served or appropriate experience, although training to be given to the right candidate.
