About the role…

They turnover over 1.8bn per annum and are looking for a confident and qualified Financial Reporting Manager to come and manage their technical accounting team.

Leading and managing their Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Cashiers teams, you will take responsibility for Group accounts, all stakeholder reporting and year end audits, whilst driving forward a high-performance culture within the team. Continuously driving improvements and efficiencies across the finance team, finding new and improved ways of working, you will prepare and review monthly management accounts and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, whilst being responsible for managing cash flow, including daily and monthly account reconciliation of the banking faculty and approving the draw-down of funds for supplier payments.

About you…

This is an extremely challenging role and with their ambitious growth plans, it demands an exceptional technical expert and a strong leader to come and drive the team forward through this exciting time!

You will be an ACA qualified accountant who ideally has experience of working at one of the big ten accounting firms, although this is not essential. With the confidence and experience of leading and managing a large multi-disciplinary team, you will be comfortable working at pace and thrive on the problems and challenges which you may face. You’ll need to have a strong commercial focus and the ability to critically analyse business situations, planning, resolving problems and continually assessing performance and making recommendations on how to improve to deliver improved results for the business.
